Located in the heart of the beautiful Texas Hill Country,
Vista Camps is nestled among rolling hills and the
crystal-clear, spring-fed Guadalupe River. Our facility will
host your group of 25 to 300 people where you will have
exclusive use of the property. All buildings are permanent,
natural rock construction, with winterized accommodations for
150 people and warmer climate accommodations for up to 300
people. Our cabins are dormitory-style, housing from 8 to 24
people, with several smaller accommodations also available.
The dining hall, located in the center of camp, is able to
comfortably seat 220 people at one time. Nutritious,
well-balanced meals are served to meet your group's needs,
family-style or buffet. You may select from a variety of menus
or we will be happy to plan menus with you to best serve your
group's needs. |

With nature's inspired
beauty as the stage, the balance of business and pleasure is
easily produced. There are numerous meeting areas on the
grounds, both indoor and outdoor. We have a beautiful outdoor
chapel that will hold meetings, chapel services and weddings
that is available for your use. For evening programs, there
are two large campfire areas with unlimited seating. In our
dining hall the large stone fireplace will add a relaxing
atmosphere to your program. To provide your group with quality
service, our staff will assist with program planning, prior to
and during your visit. Any programming needs such as: Ropes
Course, activity instruction, lifeguards, video equipment,
etc., can be made available for a minimal cost. |

Getting here is easy.
Our camps are located just 7 miles west of Kerrville, with its
private airport, and 70 miles northwest of San Antonio, with
its commercial airport. Kerrville has an excellent
full-service medical facility, as well as numerous shops,
restaurants and theaters for those desiring a night on the
town. There are also tours and day trips in the area which we
will be happy to schedule for your group: The Museum of
Western Art, the famous YO Ranch, Historic Old Ingram,
Lost Maples State Park, and in San Antonio, Sea World, Fiesta
Texas and the Alamo. In nearby Fredericksburg, there are
numerous vineyards, Enchanted Rock State Natural Area and antique shopping galore. These are only
a few of the sights in the Hill Country for you and your group
to enjoy.
During your visit, make the time to enjoy the activities,
certain to please all members of your group. The Guadalupe
provides excellent canoeing, fishing and swimming for all. Our
other program facilities include: 3 softball diamonds, 2
volleyball fields, 8 tennis courts (2 lighted), 9-hole chip &
putt golf course, lighted football field, two full-size indoor
gyms (one with a stage), 2 archery ranges, 2 riflery ranges,
trap range and ropes course,
all available with instruction. Some activity instruction will
incur additional fees. The
area abounds with hiking trails where, at any time, the
wildlife found in this area may
roam.
