The daily writing exercise: A piece a paper was passed around. Each person wrote one sentence. The catch– the person could only see the previous sentence.
Once there was an astronaut.
This astronaut flew to Mars.
He made friends with martians.
The martians liked cookies.
They also like cake and brownies.
But one day, there were no more cake and brownies.
All that was left were the crumbs.
Then a wind came and blew the crumbs up his nose.
And he sneezed a big sneeze that shook the planet.
The martians got scared because they thought it was an earthquake.
One day a lily bloomed in a grassy field.
Her name was Bob.
She hated her name because it was a boy name.
She renamed herself The Shooting Star.
She liked that name a lot better.
She liked living in the field, the sunshine made her happy.
But one day it wasn’t sunny for a month so she was sad.
She was so sad, she would not do anything.
However, she would sit by the river and watch the stars.
She would try to find different shapes in the stars.
She loved the stars, watching them was her favorite.
But one day she got hit in the eye by a raindrop.
